Between 2021 and 2022, fixed-route transit trips across all of Washington grew by 26% for a total of more than 105 million statewide, according to WSDOT data.

Washington ranks No. 6 on U.S. World and News Report’s list of states with the highest public transit usage. 

Transit Support Grants funded 6.9 million transit passenger trips by youth 18 and under between October and December 2022.
